At Southeast Addiction Centers, our admissions process is simple. It begins with a conversation with one of our admissions coordinators. We can provide a verification of insurance benefits (VOB) if needed. A phone assessment will help begin to lay the foundations for what will become your individualized treatment plan. Our Admissions Process

It all begins with a phone call. It might be a difficult call to make, but our admissions specialists have worked in the industry for over 20 years and will treat you with the dignity and compassion you so richly deserve. Here is the information you’ll want to have on hand to simplify the process:

  • History of substance use– the types as well as the length and frequency of use
  • Any addiction treatments the client has undergone in the past
  • The life areas where the client is experiencing the most distress– financial, work, personal, etc.
  • The client’s current work and living situation
  • Other medical information

Financial Arrangements

You’ll also need to have the client’s insurance information ready. Once we’ve received this info, our admissions coordinator will contact you to find out what payment methods work best for your situation. After you’ve decided, our intake specialist will ask for permission to contact your insurance provider directly. We do this because some clients wish to pay directly, without submitting any information to their provider.

If you want to self-pay, just let the intake specialist know and they’ll begin working with you to make the necessary arrangements. If you wish to use your insurance provider, the intake specialist will help you figure out what you plans covers and if there will be an out-of-pocket costs.

Starting Your Journey to New Life

Once the financial arrangements have been made, the next step is to pay us a visit. This intake session will take between two and four hours and will include a complete review of the treatment process. In some cases, you may need to go undergo a full nursing assessment to determine the safest detox protocol. This will be determined prior to your first visit.

You and your family will also be able to tour our facility. This will let you see how welcoming and tranquil the setting of your treatment will be.
